Go-Fast Spinnaker Clinics

Ahoy Sailors,

The weather is warming up, the days are getting longer, and more boats are appearing in the marinas& looks like winter is officially behind us and sailing season 2002 has started in full force.

For those sailors looking to tune up this spring on their J-24 spinnaker handling, American Sailing Yachts has retained ace-racer Paul Beaudin to instruct two J-24 Go-Fast Spinnaker clinics. Paul Beaudin won the 2001 Sonar World Championship regatta, helmed 1st place in his division during the BVI Spring Regatta last month, and has raced J-24s extensively in the New York area. Paul is currently working for Doyle Sails in City Island, and has started a Monday night J-24 racing Sandlot Series out of City Island, New York (June 4th August 29th, 2002). Graduates of the spinnaker clinics will be invited to crew in the Monday night races.
